In the title compound, C(15)H(13)BrN(2)O(3), the mol-ecule adopts an E configuration about the C=N bond and the two benzene rings form a dihedral angle of 20.3 (3)°. In the mol-ecule, there are two intra-molecular hydrogen bonds, viz. O-H⋯N and N-H⋯O, involving the hy-droxy substituent, the meth-oxy O atom and the hydrazide NH group and N atom. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked through N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains propagating along [010]. ...[more]
