The asymmetric unit of the title Schiff base compound, C(18)H(20)ClN(3)O(2), contains two independent mol-ecules. An O-H⋯N hydrogen bond contributes to the planarity of each mol-ecule: the dihedral angles between the two benzene rings are 12.8 (3) and 27.2 (3)° in the two mol-ecules. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the a axis. ...[more]
