Project description:The title compound, C(6)H(6)Cl(2)N(4)O(2), was prepared by the nucleophilic substitution of 2,4,6-trichloro-1,3,5-triazine by glycine methyl ester hydro-chloride, and was isolated from the reaction by using flash chromatography. The crystal structure at 150 K reveals the presence two crystallographically independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit which differ in the orientation of the pendant methoxy-carbonyl group. Each mol-ecular unit is engaged in strong and highly directional N-H⋯N hydrogen-bonding inter-actions with a symmetry-related mol-ecule, forming supra-molecular dimers which act as the synthons in the crystal packing.

Project description:The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(12)H(14)N(8)S(2), has an N-N gauche conformation. The triazine rings are nearly coplanar with respect to the imide bonds [C-C-C-N torsion angles = -15.3 (3) and -15.8 (3)°] and they are twisted by 77.88 (7)°. The overall conformation of the mol-ecule is stabilized by intra-molecular C-H⋯N hydrogen bonding. The mol-ecular packing is influenced by π-π inter-actions of the triazine systems with a shortest centroid-centroid separation of 3.5242 (12) Å.

Project description:In the main mol-ecule of the title compound, C21H18Br3N3·CH2Cl2, the triazinane ring adopts a chair conformation with three 4-brom-ophenyl substituents, two in diaxial positions and the third in an equatorial arrangement (eaa). The torsion angles around the N-C bonds in the triazinane ring are in the range 55.6?(5)-60.1?(5)°. The structure can be described as being built up of alternating layers along the b axis with the CH2Cl2 solvent mol-ecules sandwiched between these layers. No classical hydrogen-bonding inter-actions are observed in the crystal structure.

Project description:The title compound, C(4)H(8)N(5) (+)·C(2)HO(4) (-), was obtained from the reaction of oxalic acid and 2,4-diamino-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazine. The protonated triazine ring is essentially planar with a maximum deviation of 0.035 (1) Å, but the hydrogen oxalate anion is less planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.131 (1) Å for both carbonyl O atoms. In the crystal, the ions are linked by inter-molecular N-H⋯O, N-H⋯N, O-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. Weak π-π [centroid-centroid distance = 3.763 Å] and C-O⋯π inter-actions [O⋯centroid = 3.5300 (16) Å, C-O⋯centroid = 132.19 (10)°] are also present.

Project description:The 4-methyl-benzoic acid mol-ecule of the title adduct, C10H11N5·C8H8O2, is approximately planar with a dihedral angle of 6.3 (2)° between the carb-oxy-lic acid group and the benzene ring. In the triazine mol-ecule, the plane of the triazine ring makes a dihedral angle of 29.2 (2)° with that of the adjacent benzene ring. In the crystal, the acid and base mol-ecules are linked via N-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds with an R 2 (2)(8) motif, and the acid-base pairs are further connected via N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds with R 2 (2)(8) motifs, forming a supra-molecular ribbon along [101]. Between the tapes, a weak C-H⋯π inter-action is observed.
