ABSTRACT: The mol-ecule of the title compound, C(15)H(13)N(3)O(4), adopts an E configuration with respect to the C=N bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 6.0 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds to form chains along the c axis.
