Exposure to elevated temperatures has a strong effect on cell functions, and is used in clinical practice. Hyperthermia may affect multiple regulatory mechanisms in cells. To understand better the response to hyperthermia of immortalized primary human breast epithelial cells, we performed a proteomics study of these cells cultured at 34°C or 39°C.
