Jansen metaphyseal chondrodysplasia (JMC) is caused by a constitutively activating mutation of the parathyroid hormone (PTH)/PTH-related protein (PTHrP) receptor (PTHR1) and is characterized by widening of the metaphyses, reduction of long bone length, and short stature.
