3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-2-hy-droxy-5-(phenyl-diazen-yl)benzoic acid (1/1).

ABSTRACT: There are two independent 3,5-dimethyl-pyrazole and two independent 2-hy-droxy-5-(phenyl-diazen-yl)benzoic acid mol-ecules [in which intra-molecular O-H⋯O bonds form S(6) graph-set motifs] in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(5)H(8)N(2)·C(13)H(10)N(2)O(3). In the crystal, the components are linked by inter-molecular O-H⋯O, O-H⋯N and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming four-component clusters. Further stabilization is provided by weak C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:There are two independent mol-ecules, A and B, in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(19)H(20)N(4), in each of which the N=N double bond has an E conformation. The dihedral angles between the pyrazole ring and the p-tolyl rings in the 1- and 4-positions are 22.54?(8) and 35.73?(7)°, respectively, in mol-ecule A. The corresponding dihedral angles in mol-ecule B are 28.13?(8) and 22.18?(8)°. In the crystal, the A and B mol-ecules are linked by weak C-H?? inter-actions, leading to inversion dimers in each case.

Project description:In the title compound, [PdCl(2)(C(5)H(8)N(2))(C(12)H(12)N(2)O)], the Pd atom adopts a slightly distorted trans-PdCl(2)N(2) square-planar arrangement. The different Pd-N bond lengths can be related to the the electron-withdrawing effect of the o-toluoyl group on the substituted pyrazole ligand. The complex crystallizes as centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimers through N-H⋯Cl linkages.

Project description:In the title pyrazole derivative, C(11)H(11)N(3)O(2), the benzene ring is twisted [dihedral angle = 31.38 (12)°] with respect to the pyrazole ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.009 Å). The nitro group is effectively coplanar with the benzene ring to which it is attached [O-N-C-C torsion angle = -6.5 (3)°]. Project description:In the mol-ecule of deferasirox dimethyl-formamide solvate, C(21)H(15)N(3)O(4)·C(3)H(7)NO, the central 1,2,4-triazole ring is tilted with respect to the benzoic acid and one of the 2-hy-droxy-phenyl units but coplanar with the other 2-hy-droxy-phenyl group, as indicated by the dihedral angles of 33.69?(9), 72.57?(8) and 5.18?(9)°, respectively. Intra-molecular O-H?N hydrogen bonds generate an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, deferasirox mol-ecules are linked by O-H?N hydrogen bonds and weak C-H?O inter-actions into chains along the c axis. The dimethyl-formamide solvent mol-ecules are located between the deferasirox chains and are linked to the deferasirox mol-ecules by O-H?O hydrogen bonds and weak C-H?O inter-actions.
