In the title compound, C(19)H(13)BrO(2)S, the 4-bromo-phenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 83.75 (4)° with the mean plane of the naphtho-furan fragment [r.m.s. deviation = 0.024 (2) Å]. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers.
