(E)-2-Amino-4-(3,3-dimethyl-2-oxobutyl-idene)-1-[2-(2-hy-droxy-eth-oxy)eth-yl]-6-methyl-1,4-dihydro-pyridine-3-carbo-nitrile.

ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C(17)H(25)N(3)O(3), there are intra-molecular hydrogen bonds between an amine H atom and the ep-oxy O atom, and between a dihydro-pyridine ring H atom and the ketone O atom. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a zigzag chain running parallel to the c axis by hydrogen bonds between the hy-droxy group and the ketone O atom. There are also weak C-H?O and C-H?? inter-actions which link the mol-ecules into sheets lying in the bc plane.

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(25)H(35)NO(6), contains two independent mol-ecules. In each mol-ecule, the 1,4-dihydro-pyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation. The dihedral angles between the 1,4-dihydro-pyridine and benzene rings are 87.55 (7) and 87.23 (7)°. In one of these mol-ecules, one of the isobutyl groups is disordered over two sets of sites, with an occupancy ratio of 0.890 (2):0.110 (2). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through N-H⋯O, O-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming two-dimensional networks parallel to the ab plane. The crystal structure is further stabilized by weak C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:The title mol-ecule, C(17)H(19)NO(5), was prepared by a Hantzsch dihydro-pyridine synthesis from 4-hy-droxy-benzaldehyde, methyl acetoacetate and NH(4)HCO(3). In the mol-ecular structure of the title compound, the dihydro-pyridine ring adopts a flattened boat conformation and the plane of the base of the boat forms a dihedral angle of 80.8 (2)° with the aromatic six-membered ring. The packing is stabilized by strong inter-molecular N-H⋯O(carbon-yl), O(hydrox-y)-H⋯O(carbon-yl) and weak intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Project description:In the title compound, C16H12N2O3, the chromene ring system is nearly planar [maximum deviation from the mean plane = 0.057 (1) Å], and is almost perpendicular to the benzene ring, with a dihedral angle of 85.29 (5)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by classical N-H⋯O, O-H⋯O and O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, and weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional supra-molecular network. Furthermore, a weak π-π stacking inter-action is observed; the centroid-to-centroid distance is 3.7260 (7) Å.

Project description:The title compound, C10H13N3O3, adopts an E conformation with respect to the azomethine bond and crystallizes in the amide form. A classical intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond is present. The two N atoms of the hydrazinecarboxamide unit are also involved in inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, with the O atom of the hydrazinecarboxamide group acting as the acceptor. Project description:The benzohydrazide mol-ecule of the title compound, C(16)H(16)N(2)O(3)·2H(2)O, exists in a trans conformation with respect to the C=N double bond. The central O=C-NH-N=C plane [r.m.s. deviation of 0.0165?(1)?Å for the five non-H atoms] makes dihedral angles of 6.04?(8) and 2.38?(8)°, respectively, with the hy-droxy- and eth-oxy-substituted benzene rings. The dihedral angle between these benzene rings is 3.82?(7)°. The eth-oxy group is almost coplanar with the attached benzene ring with a C-O-C-C torsion angle of -176.58?(11)°. In the crystal, the benzohydrazide and water mol-ecules are linked by N-H?O, O-H?O , O-H?N and C-H?O hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
