As enhanced adipogenesis contributes to programmed obesity, adipogenic and lipogenic signaling pathways in intrauterine growth restricted (IUGR) offspring were examined. From 10 days to term gestation, rats received ad libitum food (control) or were 50% food-restricted (IUGR).
