<h4>Objectives</h4>Endometriosis is a chronic disease caused by the presence of endometrial tissue in ectopic locations outside the uterus. Chronic exposure to the environmental pollutant dioxin has been correlated with an increased incidence in the development of endometriosis in non-human primates.
