ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C15H10ClN3O2, the benzene ring is slightly twisted out of the plane of the 2,3-di-hydro-1H-indole ring system (r.m.s. deviation = 0.007?Å), forming a dihedral angle of 7.4?(3)°. An intra-molecular N-H?O hydrogen bond forms a six-membered ring. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H?O and C-H?O hydrogen bonds, forming layers alternately perpendicular to [011] and [0-11].

Project description:The title compound, C12H10ClNO3, the indoline ring system is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.009 Å for the N atom. The indoline ring and acetate group are essentially coplanar, with a maximum deviation of 0.086 Å for the O atom. The mean plane through the methoxy-carbonyl-methyl group forms a dihedral angle of 3.68 (5)° with the plane of the indoline ring system. The mol-ecular structure is stabilized by an intra-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-action. In the crystal, π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.7677 (8) Å] occur between benzene rings, forming a chain running along the c-axis direction.

Project description:In the title compound, C18H14N6O2, the benzene ring is slightly twisted out of the plane of the 1,2,3-triazole ring (r.m.s. deviation = 0.010?Å), forming a dihedral angle of 6.20?(13)°. The nine non-H ring atoms of the fused five- and six-membered ring system are almost coplanar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.032?Å). The near coplanarity in the central residue is consolidated by an intra-molecular bifurcated N-H?(O,N) hydrogen bond. The conformation about the N=C bond is Z. In the crystal, supra-molecular chains along [101] are sustained by N-H?O hydrogen bonds and C-H?O inter-actions. These are consolidated into a three-dimensional architecture by C-H?? and ?-? inter-actions; the latter occur between centrosymmetrically related 1,2,3-triazole rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6056?(14)?Å].

Project description:In the title compound, C(16)H(13)ClN(4)OS, the isatin ring system is oriented at dihedral angles of 10.60?(7) and 72.60?(3)° with respect to the thio-semicarbazide and 2-chloro-benzyl groups, respectively. The near planarity of the isatin and thio-semicarbazide groups [r.m.s. deviations of 0.0420 and 0.0163?Å, respectively] is reinforced by intra-molecular N-H?O and N-H?N hydrogen bonds, which generate S(6) and S(5) rings, respectively. The mean plane through the oxo-propyl-idene group makes a dihedral angle of 36.44 (9)° with the fused benzene ring. An intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond to close an S(6) loop is noted. An important feature of the mol-ecular packing are N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds that lead to the formation of helical supra-molecular chains along the b axis.

Project description:Reaction of 2-(4-chloro-3,3,7-trimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indol-2-yl-idene)propane-dial with hydroxyl-amine gives the title compound, C(14)H(14)ClN(3)O, in which the ring N atom is essentially planar [sum of angles around the ring N atom = 361°], indicating conjugation with the 2-cyano-acryl-amide unit. The orientation of the acetamide group arises from intra-molecular hydrogen bonding between the indole N-H and carbonyl groups. In the crystal, inversion-related acetamide groups form N-H?O hydrogen-bonded dimers in graph-set R(2) (2)(8) motifs, whilst dimers are also formed by pairs of amine-nitrile N-H?N hydrogen bonds in R(2) (2)(12) motifs. These inter-actions together generate ribbons that propagate along the b-axis direction.

Project description:The title indan-1-one derivative, C(16)H(11)BrO, is planar, the r.m.s. deviation for all 18 non-H atoms being 0.071?Å. The configuration about the C=C bond [1.337?(5)?Å] is E. In the crystal, supra-molecular layers in the ab plane are formed by C-H?O inter-actions, involving the bifurcated carbonyl O atom, as well as C-H?? inter-actions. The studied crystal was an inversion twin.
