Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(21)H(25)ClN(2)O, contains four crystallographically independent mol-ecules, which differ mainly in the orientation of the isobutyl groups. The benzene rings are almost orthogonal to each other, forming dihedral angles of 87.40 (6), 88.69 (6), 84.88 (6) and 85.12 (6)° in the four mol-ecules. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, together with C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Project description:In the title compound, C(21)H(26)N(2)O, the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 85.90 (19)°. The propenone-hydrazide unit forms dihedral angles of 21.62 (8) and 72.83 (9)°, respectively, with the terminal and central aromatic rings. The 2-methyl-propyl group is disordered over two sites, with occupancies of 0.533 (13) and 0.467 (13). In crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by paired N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In addition, C-H⋯π inter-actions are observed.

Project description:The title compound, C20H17ClN2O2S, was obtained by a condensation reaction between 4-chloro-benzo-phenone and tosyl hydrazide. The plane of the methyl-substituted benzene ring forms dihedral angles of 20.12 (12) and 78.43 (13)° with those of the chlorine-substituted benzene ring and the benzene ring, respectively, with the last two rings forming a dihedral angle of 67.81 (13)°. The chlorine substituent was also found to be 0.868 (2):0.132 (2) disordered over these two rings. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked through pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, giving centrosymmetric cyclic dimers [graph set R 2 (2)(8)], which are linked by weak C-H⋯O and C-H⋯Cl inter-actions into a chain structure which extends along the a-axis direction.

Project description:There are two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(13)H(13)N(3)OS, which was obtained from a condensation reaction of N-(p-tol-yl)hydrazinecarbothio-amide and furfural. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the tolyl ring and the (furan-2-yl-methyl-ene)hydrazine unit are 39.83?(8) and 48.95?(7)° in the two mol-ecules. The mol-ecules both exhibit an E configuration. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H?N and N-H?S hydrogen bonds connect the two independent mol-ecules.
