ABSTRACT: The mol-ecular structure of the title compound, C10H17BO3Si, features an intra-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bond; the boronic group group has an exo-endo conformation. In the crystal, the mol-ecules inter-act with each other by O-H?O hydrogen bonds, producing centrosymmetric dimers that are linked by weak ?-? stacking inter-actions featuring specific short B?C contacts [e.g. 3.372?(2)?Å], forming an infinite columnar structure aligned along the a-axis direction.

Project description:In the title compound, C8H9BO4, the meth-oxy-carbonyl group is rotated out of the plane of the benzene ring by 7.70 (6)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via pairs of O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, involving the boronic acid OH groups, forming inversion dimers. The dimers are linked via O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, involving a boronic acid OH group and the carbonyl O atom, forming undulating sheets parallel to (10-2). Within the sheets there are also C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds present, also involving the carbonyl O atom. The sheets are linked via C-H⋯π and offset face-to-face π-inter-actions between inversion-related mol-ecules [inter-centroid distance = 3.7843 (16) Å, inter-planar distance = 3.3427 (4) Å and offset = 1.744 Å], forming a three-dimensional structure.

Project description:The title compound, C26H23F3N4O, crystallizes with two symmetry-independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit, denoted A and B, which differ mainly in the rotation of the meth-oxy-phenyl ring. The -CF3 group of mol-ecule B is disordered by rotation, with the F atoms split over two sets of sites; the occupancy factor for the major component is 0.853?(4). The dihedral angles between the pyrimidine ring and the attached phenyl, meth-oxy-phenyl and tri-fluoro-methyl-phenyl rings are 8.1?(2), 37.5?(2) and 70.7?(2)°, respectively, in mol-ecule A, and 9.3?(2), 5.3?(2) and 79.7?(2)° in mol-ecule B. An intra-molecular N-H?N hydrogen bond occurs in each mol-ecule. In the crystal, two crystallographically independent mol-ecules associate into a dimer via a pair of N-H?N hydrogen bonds, with a resulting R 2 (2)(12) ring motif and ?-? stacking inter-actions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.517?(4)?Å] between the pyrimidine rings. For the A mol-ecules, there are inter-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bonds between an aryl C atom of meth-oxy-phenyl ring and a meth-oxy O atom of an adjacent mol-ecule. A similar inter-action is lacking in the B mol-ecules.

Project description:The title compound, C21H23NSi, was synthesized by Sonogashira-type reaction of 1-ethyl-3-iodo-2-phenyl-1H-indole with tri-methyl-silyl-acetyl-ene. The indole ring system is nearly planar [maximum atomic deviation = 0.0244?(15)?Å] and is oriented at a dihedral angle of 51.48?(4)° with respect to the phenyl ring. The supramolecular aggregation is completed by weak C-H?? inter-actions of the methylene and phenyl groups with the benzene and pyrrole rings of the indole ring system. The methyl groups of the tri-methyl-silyl unit are equally disordered over two sets of sites.

Project description:The tricyclic core in the title compound, C26H34O4Si2, shows disorder of the furan ring and deviates slightly from planarity, with the largest displacement from the least-squares plane [0.166 (2) Å] for the major disordered part of the methine C atom. To this C atom the likewise disordered vinyl group is attached, lying nearly perpendicular to the tricyclic core. In the crystal, mutual C-H⋯π inter-actions between the methine group of the furan ring and the central ring of the tricyclic core of an adjacent mol-ecule lead to inversion-related dimers.

Project description:In the title compound, C15H13F3O2S, the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 79.5 (1)°. The ester group is twisted by 7.6 (1)° from the mean plane of the adjacent benzene ring. Disorder was modeled over two sites for one F atom of the tri-fluoro-methyl group with an occupancy ratio of 0.54 (6):0.46 (6). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via weak C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming two-dimensional networks lying parallel to (101). The networks are linked via C-H⋯π inter-actions, leading to the formation of a three-dimensional supra-molecular structure.
