Single agents against multiple drug targets are highly topical. Hormone-dependent breast cancer (HDBC) may be more effectively treated by dual inhibition of aromatase and steroid sulfatase (STS), and several dual aromatase-sulfatase inhibitors (DASIs) have been recently reported.
