In the crystal, each mol-ecule utilizes CH2 and CH3 bonds to form weak C-H?O hydrogen bonds to six other mol-ecules, thus linking mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network.

Project description:The unusual trinuclear Au(III) oxide title complex, [Au(3)Cl(6)O(C(21)H(24)N(2))(3)](C(2)F(6)NO(4)S(2))·2[Ag(C(2)F(6)NO(4)S(2))], is the side product of the reaction of [1,3-bis-(1,3,5-trimethyl-phen-yl)imidazol-2-yl-idene]dichloridophenyl-gold(III) with silver bis-(trifluoro-methane-sulfon-yl)imide in the presence of traces of water. In contrast to corresponding Au(I) complexes, the core structure of the title compound is planar. Two silver(I) bis-(trifluoro-methane-sulfon-yl)imide units are loosely bound to the complex cation. Here the silver atoms, disordered over two positions in a 0.870?(2):0.130?(2) ratio, inter-act either with the lone pairs of three chlorine ligands or two chlorine ligands and one edge of the mesityl ?-system. The crystal under investigation was a partial racemic twin.

Project description:In the crystal structure of the title compound, C(22)H(28)N(2)O(6)S(2), the asymmetric unit contains one half mol-ecule with a center of symmetry at the mid-point of the central C-C bond. The conformations of all the N-H, C= O and C-H bonds in the central amide and aliphatic segments are anti to their adjacent bonds. The mol-ecule is bent at the S atom with an C-SO(2)-NH-C(O) torsion angle of -76.4?(3)°. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the SO(2)-NH-C(O) segment in the two halves of the mol-ecule is 67.2?(1)°. In the crystal, N-H?O(C) inter-molecular hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into chains along the b axis.

Each Cu(I) ion has a distorted trigonal-planar geometry and is coordinated by two N atoms from the Me(2)BIM ligand and another N atom from the Me(2)BIM that acts as a bridging ligand, another N atom of the bridging Me(2)BIM being linked to the second Cu(I) ion. The two Pd-P bond lengths differ by about 0.04?Å and the biphosphane bite angle is slightly obtuse [92.92?(2)°]. There are three dichloro-methane and one water mol-ecule co-crystallized with the palladium mol-ecule, all with atoms in general positions. Alternating water and palladium mol-ecules form four-membered cyclic units through O-H?Cl and O-H?O hydrogen bonding. One of the dichloromethane solvent molecules is disordered over two positions in a 0.55:0.45 ratio.
