Bis(2-amino-4-phenyl-1,3-thia-zol-3-ium) tetra-chlorido-palladate(II).

ABSTRACT: The title compound, (C9H9N2S)2[PdCl4], consists of two monoprotonated 2-amino-4-phenyl-1,3-thia-zole molecules and one tetra-chlorido-palladate anion. The organic molecules exhibit a dihedral angle between the main rings planes of 31.82?(9)°. In the anion, the Pd(II) atom is located on a crystallographic centre of symmetry with a square-planar geometry. In the crystal, the anions and cations are connected through bifurcated N-H?Cl hydrogen bonds, and these inter-actions lead to hydrogen-bonded tapes of cations and anions along [100].

Project description:The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C(7)H(7)N(2)S)(2)[ZnCl(4)], contains a network of 2-amino-benzothia-zolium cations and tetra-hedral [ZnCl(4)](2-) anions. The crystal packing is influenced by cation-to-anion N-H?Cl and C-H?Cl hydrogen bonds. The [ZnCl(4)](2-) anions have a distorded tetra-hedral geometry. Project description:In both 2-amino-4,4,7,7-tetra-methyl-4,5,6,7-tetra-hydro-1,3- benzo-thia-zol-3-ium benzoate, C11H19N2S+·C7H5O2-, (I), and 2-amino-4,4,7,7-tetra-methyl-4,5,6,7-tetra-hydro-1,3-benzo-thia-zol-3-ium picrate (2,4,6-tri-nitro-phenolate), C11H19N2S+·C6H2N3O7-, (II), the cations are conformationally chiral as the six-membered rings adopt half-chair conformations, which are disordered over two sets of atomic sites giving approximately enanti-omeric disorder. For both cations, the bond lengths indicate delocalization of the positive charge comparable to that in an amidinium cation. The bond lengths in the picrate anion in (II) are consistent with extensive delocalization of the negative charge into the ring and onto the nitro groups, in two of which the O atoms are disordered over two sets of sites. In (I), the ionic components are linked by N-H?O hydrogen bonds to form a chain of rings, and in (II), the N-H?O hydrogen bonds link the components into centrosymmetric four-ion aggregates containing seven hydrogen bonded rings of four different types.

Project description:The title compound, {(C7H6NS)2[Sb2Cl6O]} n , contains two benzo-thia-zolidium cations and one tri-μ-chlorido-tri-chlorido-μ-oxido-di-anti-monate(III) anion. The structure of the inorganic cation may be described as as being built up from two polyhedra, i.e. a square-pyramidal SbCl4O and a distorted octa-hedral SbOCl5 unit, sharing a common face (comprising the O atom and two Cl atoms). The two benzo-thia-zole cations are quasi-planar and subtend a dihedral angle of 19.93 (5)°. The crystal packing can be described by alternating (100) layers and [001] chains of the organic cations and inorganic anions connected through an extensive three-dimensional network of N-H⋯Cl, C-H⋯O and C-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. This is consolidated by slipped π-π stacking, with centroid-to-centroid distances between the benzo-thia-zole rings of 3.7111 (18)-3.8452 (16) Å. These inter-actions link the mol-ecules within the layers and also link the layers together and reinforce the cohesion of the ionic structure.

Project description:The title compound, C(4)H(6)N(3)OS(+)·H(2)PO(4) (-), (I), was obtained as a result of hydrolysis of [(1,3-thia-zol-2-yl-amino)-carbon-yl]-phospho-ramidic acid, (II), in water. X-ray analysis has shown that the N-P bond in (II) breaks, leading to the formation of the substituted carbamide (I). This compound exists as an inter-nal salt. The unit cell consists of a urea cation and an anion of H(2)PO(4) (-). Protonation of the N atom of the heterocyclic ring was confirmed by the location of the H atom in a difference Fourier map. The mol-ecules of substituted urea are connected by O?O hydrogen bonds into unlimited planes. In turn, those planes are connected to each other via N-H?O hydrogen bonds with mol-ecules of phospho-ric acid, forming a three-dimensional polymer.

Project description:In the title compound, (C(5)H(7)N(2))(2)[CoCl(4)], the cobalt(II) ion is coordinated by four chloride ions in a slightly distorted tetra-hedral geometry. Project description:In the title compound, C(10)H(8)N(2)O(2)S, the planes of the aromatic rings are oriented at a dihedral angle of 66.69?(3)°. In the crystal structure, inter-molecular N-H?N and C-H?O inter-actions link the mol-ecules into a two-dimensional network, forming R(2) (2)(8) ring motifs. ?-? contacts between the thia-zole rings [centroid-centroid distance = 3.535?(1)?Å] may further stabilize the structure. A weak C-H?? inter-action is also found.

Project description:In the title salt, (C34H44N4)[HgCl4], the [C34H44N4]2+ cations and [HgCl4]2- anions are linked by N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. One of the two n-pentyl side chains was refined as disordered over two sets of sites, with occupancies of 0.733 (18) and 0.267 (18). The geometry around the HgII atom in the [HgCl4]2- anion is distorted tetra-hedral, with bond angles ranging from 98.16 (3) to 120.68 (3)°. In the [HgCl4]2- anion, there are two short Hg-Cl bonds [2.4120 (9) and 2.4171 (11) Å], one inter-mediate Hg-Cl bond [2.4716 (12) Å] and one long Hg-Cl bond [2.6579 (13) Å] for the Cl atom involved in a trifurcated hydrogen bond as an acceptor, including two N-H⋯Cl⋯H-N interactions as well as one C-H⋯Cl inter-action. There are several C-H⋯Cl inter-actions, with C⋯Cl distances ranging from 3.492 (3) to 3.796 (3) Å. These link the cations and anions into a zigzag chain along the c-axis direction. In addition, there are Cl⋯Cl halogen bonds, as well as π-π inter-actions, with centroid-to-centroid distances of 3.4765 (18) Å, which link one of the two benzimidazole moieties into dimeric units.
