Project description:In the title racemic compound, C12H10ClNO, the dihedral angle between the benzene and pyridine rings is 74.34 (6)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming zigzag C(5) [001] chains in which alternating R- and S-configuration mol-ecules are related by c-glide symmetry. In addition, inversion-related pairs of mol-ecules are linked into dimers by pairs of weak C-Cl⋯π(pyrid-yl) inter-actions, which link the hydrogen-bonded chains into (100) sheets. Structural comparisons are drawn with a number of related compounds.

Project description:In the title compound, C9H10N2O, the imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine moiety is approximately planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.024 Å). The methanol group is nearly perpendicular to its mean plane as indicated by the C-C-C-O and N-C-C-O torsion angles of 80.04 (16) and -96.30 (17)°, respectively. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by O-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming inversion dimers with an R (2) 2(10) ring motif. The dimers are liked via C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, enclosing R (2) 2(10) ring motifs and forming ribbons along [201]. The ribbons are linked via a number of π-π inter-actions [centroid-centroid distances vary from 3.4819 (8) to 3.7212 (8) Å], forming a three-dimensional structure.

Project description:Crystals of the title compound, [Li{OOP(O-2,6-(i)Pr2C6H3)2}(CH3OH)3]·CH3OH or [Li(C24H34O4P)(CH3OH)3]·CH3OH, have been formed in the reaction between HOOP(O-2,6-(i)Pr2C6H3)2 and LiOH in methanol. The title compound is of inter-est as it represents the first reported crystal structure of the family of lithium phosphate diesters. The {Li(CH3OH)3[O2P(O-(i)Pr2C6H3)2]} unit displays the Li atom in a slightly distorted tetra-hedral coordination environment and exhibits one intra-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bond between a coordinating methanol mol-ecule and the terminal non-coordinating O atom of the phosphate group. The unit is connected with two non-coordinating methanol mol-ecules through two inter-molecular O-H?O hydrogen bonds, and with a neighbouring unit through two other O-H?O inter-actions. These inter-molecular hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of infinite chains along [100]. There are no significant inter-actions between the chains.

Project description:The title compound, C33H35NO6 [systematic name: (Z)-3-(4-{(E)-[(E)-1a,5-dimethyl-9-oxo-2,3,7,7a-tetra-hydro-oxireno[2',3':9,10]cyclo-deca-[1,2-b]furan-8(1aH,6H,9H,10aH,10bH)-yl-idene]meth-yl}phen-yl)-2-(3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phen-yl)acrylo-ni-trile methanol hemisolvate], C33H35NO6·0.5CH3OH, was prepared by the reaction of (Z)-3-(4-iodo-phen-yl)-2-(3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phen-yl)acrylo-nitrile with parthenolide [systematic name: (E)-1a,5-dimethyl-8-methyl-ene-2,3,6,7,7a,8,10a,10b-octa-hy-dro-oxireno[2',3':9,10]cyclo-deca-[1,2-b]furan-9(1aH)-one] under Heck reaction conditions. The mol-ecule is built up from fused ten-, five- (lactone) and three-membered (epoxide) rings with a {4-[(Z)-2-cyano-2-(3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phen-yl)ethen-yl]phen-yl}methyl-idene group as a substituent. The 4-[(Z)-2-cyano-2-(3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phen-yl)ethen-yl]phenyl group on the parthenolide exocyclic double bond is oriented in a trans position to the lactone ring to form the E isomer. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring of the phenyl moiety and the lactone ring mean plane is 21.93?(4)°.

Project description:In the title compound, C19H13ClF2N2O2, the conformation of the N-H bond in the amide segment is anti to the C=O bond. The mol-ecule is not planar, with dihedral angles between the central benzene ring and the outer benzene and pyridyl rings of 73.35?(7) and 81.26?(6)°, respectively. A weak intra-molecular C-H?O hydrogen bond occurs. In the crystal, N-H?N, C-H?O and C-H?F hydrogen bonds lead to the formation of dimers. The N-H?N inversion dimers are linked by ?-? contacts between adjacent pyridine rings [centroid-centroid = 3.8541?(12)?Å] and C-H?? inter-actions. These contacts combine to stack the mol-ecules along the a axis.

Project description:The unit cell of the title compound, [Fe(C18H15N6O2)2]·2CH3OH·2CHCl3, consists of a charge-neutral complex mol-ecule, two methanol and two chloro-form mol-ecules. In the complex, the two tridentate 2-(5-(3,4-di-meth-oxy-phen-yl)-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)-6-(pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine ligands coordinate to the central FeII ion through the N atoms of the pyrazole, pyridine and triazole groups, forming a pseudo-octa-hedral coordination sphere. Neighbouring tapered mol-ecules are linked through weak C-H(pz)⋯π(ph) inter-actions into one-dimensional chains, which are joined into two-dimensional layers through weak C-H⋯N/C/O inter-actions. Furthermore, the layers stack in a three-dimensional network linked by weak inter-layer C-H⋯π inter-actions of the meth-oxy and phenyl groups. The inter-molecular contacts were qu-anti-fied using Hirshfeld surface analysis and two-dimensional fingerprint plots, revealing the relative contributions of the contacts to the crystal packing to be H⋯H 32.0%, H⋯C/C⋯H 26.3%, H⋯N/N⋯H 13.8%, and H⋯O/O⋯H 7.5%. The average Fe-N bond distance is 2.185 Å, indicating the high-spin state of the FeII ion. Energy framework analysis at the HF/3-21 G theory level was performed to qu-antify the inter-action energies in the crystal structure.

Project description:In the title compound, C(14)H(14)O, the two benzene rings are almost orthogonal [dihedral angle = 87.78?(8) °]. The hy-droxy group lies approximately in the plane of its attached benzene ring [O-C-C-C torsion angle = -17.47?(17)°], and the hydroxyl and methyl groups lie to the same side of the mol-ecule and are gauche to each other. In the crystal, a hexa-meric aggregate mediated by a ring of six O-H?O hydrogen bonds occurs, generating an R(6) (6)(12) loop.

Project description:The crystal structures of bis-{3,5-di-fluoro-2-[4-(2,4,6-tri-methyl-phen-yl)pyridin-2-yl]phenyl-?2 N,C 1}(picolinato-?2 N,O)iridium(III), [Ir(C20H16F2N)2(C6H4NO2)], 1, and bis-[2-(4-tert-butyl-pyridin-2-yl)-3,5-di-fluoro-phenyl-?2 N,C 1](picolinato-?2 N,O)iridium(III), [Ir(C15H14F2N)2(C6H4NO2)], 2, are presented herein. These phospho-rescent cyclo-metallated iridium(III) compounds have been structurally investigated in order to better understand the nature of their blue-shifted emssions while maintaining high quantum yields. Compound 1 exhibits substantial twisting of the mesitylene rings out of the plane of the attached pyridine ring, with dihedral angles of 67.0?(1) and 78.7?(1)° between the best mean planes. For both compounds, the contribution of disordered solvent mol-ecule(s) was removed using the SQUEEZE [Spek (2015 ?). Acta Cryst. C71, 9-18] routine in PLATON [Spek (2015 ?). Acta Cryst. C71, 9-18]. These solvent mol-ecules are not considered in the given chemical formula and other crystal data.

Project description:The title compound, C20H23N3O6·CH3OH, was synthesized by [3 + 2] cyclo-addition of (Z)-2,3-bis-(3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phen-yl)acrylo-nitrile with sodium azide and ammonium chloride in DMF/water. The central nitro-gen of the triazole ring is protonated. The dihedral angles between the triazole ring and the 3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phenyl ring planes are 34.31?(4) and 45.03?(5)°, while that between the 3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-phenyl rings is 51.87?(5)°. In the crystal, the mol-ecules, along with two methanol solvent mol-ecules are linked into an R (4) 4(10) centrosymmetric dimer by N-H?O and O-H?N hydrogen bonds.

In the crystal, O-H⋯O, N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the α-amino-phospho-nic acid and methanol mol-ecules into chains that propagate parallel to the a axis.
