In a previous study, we demonstrated the feasibility of retaining poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (pNIPAAm) on hydroxylated surfaces by spin-coating a blend of pNIPAAm with a small amount of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES), an organosilane, followed by thermal annealing.
