<i>Chryseobacterium bovis</i> DSM 19482<sup>T</sup> (Hantsis-Zacharov et al., Int J Syst Evol Microbiol 58:1024-1028, 2008) is a Gram-negative, rod shaped, non-motile, facultative anaerobe, chemoorganotroph bacterium. <i>C. bovis</i> is a member of the <i>Flavobacteriaceae</i>, a family within the phylum <i>Bacteroidetes</i>.
