Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) uses a complex 3', 5'-cyclic AMP (cAMP) signaling network to sense and respond to changing environments encountered during infection, so perturbation of cAMP signaling might be leveraged to disrupt Mtb pathogenesis.
