Aflatoxin contamination is associated with the development of aflatoxigenic fungi such as <i>Aspergillus flavus</i> and <i>A. parasiticus</i> on food grains. This study was aimed at investigating metabolites produced during fungal development on maize and their correlation with aflatoxin levels.
