Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a highly lethal and aggressive disease. Recently, IDH1/2 mutations have been identified in approximately 20% of CCAs which suggests an involvement of 2-oxoglutarate (2-OG) -dependent dioxygenases in oncogenesis.
