<i>Legionella pneumophila</i> is a Gram-negative pathogenic bacterium that causes severe pneumonia in humans. It establishes a replicative niche called <i>Legionella</i>-containing vacuole (LCV) that allows bacteria to survive and replicate inside pulmonary macrophages.
