Here, we present a function to derive non-deteriorated nanoparticulated lignin as an antioxidant without biological toxicity that is supplied through the simultaneous enzymatic saccharification and comminution of plants. The lignin exhibits an oxygen radical absorption capacity, even in its macromolecular nature.
