A series of fifty arylideneketones and thiazolidenehydrazines was evaluated against <i>Leishmania infantum</i> and <i>Leishmania braziliensis</i>. Furthermore, new simplified thiazolidenehydrazine derivatives were evaluated against <i>Trypanosoma cruzi</i>.
