A series of isoxazole and triazole derivatives, with interesting bioactive scaffolds, were examined for their <i>in vitro</i> antibacterial, antifungal, and antiprotozoal activities. These compounds exhibited antitrypanosomal activity comparable to difluoromethylornithine (DMFO), a drug used in the treatment of human African trypanosomiasis.
