In this study, we proposed that the functionality or phenotype of differentiated cardiomyocytes derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC-CMs) might be modified by co-culture with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), resulting in an improved therapeutic potential for failing myocardial tissues.
