The receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) interacts with various molecules in the cell membrane to induce an inflammatory response. The cytolethal distending toxin (CDT) produced by <i>Campylobacter jejuni</i> contains three subunits: CdtA, CdtB, and CdtC.
