The extraction of total phenolics (TPC), total flavonoids content (TFC), total saponins content (TSC), and caffeic acid (AC) contents of asparagus roots extract (ARE) from New Zealand and Chinese AR cultivars was optimized following a microwave-assisted extraction combined with central composite design.
