The combination of chemotherapeutic drugs and reactive oxygen species (ROS) is a promising strategy to achieve improved anticancer effect. Herein, a nanomedicine (LaCIONPs) that can achieve tumor-specific chemotherapeutic drug release and ROS generation is developed for cancer chemo/chemodynamic combination therapy.
