15-Deoxy-∆-<sup>12,14</sup>-prostaglandin J2 (15d-PGJ2), a natural peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-<i>γ</i> (PPAR-<i>γ</i>) agonist, has been explored in some detail over the last 20 years.
