We demonstrate here a facile hydrothermal-assisted formation of PtCo alloy nanoparticles (NPs) and their simultaneous anchoring on the graphitic surface of N-doped graphene oxide (NGO). Doping induced nanopores in the carbon surface to facilitate the uniform and homogeneous anchoring of alloy nanoparticles. It was revealed that the formation of PtCo NPs on an NGO interface plodded excellent tendency toward double-stranded deoxyribonucleic acid (dsDNA).
