The basidiomycete <i>Sporisorium graminicola</i> (formally <i>Pseudozyma graminicola</i>) strain CBS10092 was originally isolated from an herbaceous plant in Russia. It is a known producer of mannosylerythritol lipids (MELs), the main component being MEL-C.
