Ferredoxin-NADP<sup>+</sup> reductase (FNR) in plants receives electrons from ferredoxin (Fd) at the end of the photosynthetic electron transfer chain and converts NADP<sup>+</sup> to NADPH. The interaction between Fd and FNR in plants was previously shown to be attenuated by NADP(H).
