MicroRNAs (miRs) appear to be major, yet poorly understood players in regulatory networks guiding cardiogenesis. We sought to identify miRs with unknown functions during cardiogenesis analyzing the miR-profile of multipotent <i>Nkx2.5</i> enhancer cardiac progenitor cells (NkxCE-CPCs).
