We have developed a catalytic synthetic method to prepare phenoxasilins. A borane-catalyzed double sila-Friedel-Crafts reaction between amino group-containing diaryl ethers and dihydrosilanes can be used to prepare a variety of phenoxasilin derivatives in good to excellent yields.
