The pauropod family Eurypauropodidae Ryder, 1879 is recorded from Tibet, China for the first time. In this study, a new species <i>Samarangopus zhongi</i> <b>sp. nov.</b> is described and illustrated from Motuo County, southeastern Tibet of China.
