First record of Scolopendrellopsis from China with the description of a new species (Myriapoda, Symphyla).


ABSTRACT: The genus Scolopendrellopsis Bagnall, 1913 is recorded from China for the first time and Scolopendrellopsisglabrus sp. n. is described and illustrated. The new species is characterized by the short central rod on head, third tergite complete, four kinds of sensory organs present on antenna, and the cerci rather short and covered with a low number of straight setae.
