Primary gastrointestinal lymphoma is very rare compared to gastrointestinal tract lymphoma arising from secondary to primary nodal disease. Extra nodal lymphoma can involve any part of the gastrointestinal tract, most commonly being the stomach followed by small intestine and ileocecal region.
