Single-molecule techniques have become impactful in bioanalytical sciences, though the advantages for continuous biosensing are yet to be discovered. Here we present a multiplexed, continuous biosensing method, enabled by an analyte-sensitive, single-molecular nanoswitch with a particle as a reporter.
