Peptide-<i>N</i> <sup>4</sup>-(<i>N</i>-acetyl-β-glucosaminyl) asparagine amidases (PNGases, <i>N</i>-glycanases, EC 3.5.1.52) are indispensable tools in releasing <i>N</i>-glycans from glycoproteins.
