The CaMK subfamily of Ser/Thr kinases are regulated by calmodulin interactions with their C-terminal regions. They are exemplified by Ca<sup>2+</sup>/calmodulin dependent protein kinase 1δ which is known as CaMK1D, CaMKIδ or CKLiK.
