The complete mitochondrial genome sequence of the hybrid of <i>Erythroculter ilishaeformis</i> was first determined by a PCR-based sequencing method in this study. The mitochondrial was 16 624 bp in length, including 13 protein genes, two ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes, 22 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes and one control region.
