One of the most commonly utilized medicinal plants in China is <i>Fritillaria hupehensis</i> (Hsiao et K.C. Hsia). However, due to a lack of genomic resources, little is known about the biosynthesis of relevant compounds, particularly the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway.
