Programmed cell death 1 ligand (PD-L1) and its receptor (PD-1) are key molecules for immunoregulation and immunotherapy. PD-L1 binding PD-1 is an effective way to regulate T or B cell immunity in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
