<h4>Background</h4>Autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD) is a progressive chronic disease that is inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion. Symptoms include hyperuricemia, gout, interstitial nephritis, renal cysts, and progressive renal damage that can lead to end-stage renal disease.
