<i>δ</i>-Viniferin is a resveratrol dimer that possesses potent antioxidant properties and has attracted attention as an ingredient for cosmetic and nutraceutical products. Enzymatic bioconversion and plant callus and cell suspension cultures can be used to produce stilbenes such as resveratrol and viniferin.
