Series of sulfonamide-substituted amide (<b>9</b>-<b>11</b>), benzamide (<b>12</b>-<b>15</b>), and 1,3-disubstituted thiourea (<b>17</b>-<b>26</b>) derivatives were synthesized from a common precursor, i.e., substituted benzoyl chlorides.
