Excessive Firing of Dyskinesia-Associated Striatal Direct Pathway Neurons is Gated by Dopamine and Excitatory Synaptic Input

ABSTRACT: Using FosTRAP mice to capture dyskinesia-associated striatal neurons, we used a combination of in vivo and ex vivo electrophysiology, synaptic tracing, and molecular profiling to characterize heterogeneity among direct pathway neurons in levodopa-induced dyskinesia. The dataset included here is related to the synaptic tracing experiments published in Ryan et al., 2024 (Cell Reports).
